I send my most sincere condolences to all of you in Paul Lindsey's family. May he rest in peace. I was a student of Ouida, may she also rest in peace, who taught the course "Breaking The Bonds of Racism" at Columbia College in the early-to-mid-1970s. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had - one I appreciated more and more in the years that have followed college. If I recall correctly, he visited our class during the semester. Just as she strove to bring better understanding and open mindedness, I know that he shared that effort with the same passion. The book they co-wrote which is what the course at Columbia was all about continues that effort. May you all find comfort in that, and in your memories of him, and of Ouida as well.
