Paul Faulkner Obituary
Starke - Mr. Paul Henry Faulkner Sr. 87, resident of Starke, FL passed away Monday, August 13, 2007 at North Florida Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was a native of Somerset, Kentucky, residing most of his life in Starke. He was the youngest of 10 children to Ben and China Faulkner. He was a local businessman and served in the US Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Starke. Mr. Faulkner also enjoyed car racing and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Emily Irene Faulkner who died January 28, 2001. He is survived by a son, Paul H. Faulkner Jr., daughter, Susan Faulkner O'Neal and sister, Mary Faulkner all of Starke. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Starke with Rev. Frank Starling officiating and Rev. Ronnie Coe assisting with interment in Crosby Lake Cemetery.
ARCHIE TANNER FUNERAL HOME of Starke in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear about your daddy. He was always good to me and always had a smile on his face when I saw him. I know that he has had a very tough time the last few years and you did such a good job caring for him. I am sorry I did not make it to the viewing or the service - I have not been able to do that since my mother died last year - you have most certainly been in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

I will never forget the trips to Aunt Mary's house, this is where we gather to have dinner and get caught up on each others lives. Uncle Paul always came in with a smile and had to have a kiss and hug when he got there and when we left. I will never forget him.
