Paul DiCaro Obituary

Lisa, Dee Dee and family:
I never met your father, but from all the people I saw waiting to visit on the day of the wake gave me the reason to believe he was a wonderful man. The flowers were beautiful as well as the pictures. I am sure you were blessed with a great father just by looking at the photos that were displayed. Just remember the good times and keep smiling because I am sure he is smiling down upon you always. God Bless!!

Paul was the most generous man I ever knew. He had a kind heart for everyone, and it showed at his services. Never in my life, except when the Late Mayor Daley, were there so many people waiting to come in and express their sorrow. He was a GIANT by all standards.I know what he went through as I myself was diagnosed with the esophageal cancer, but I was lucky enough that they caught it soon. My husband and I lost a dear friend and wish your family love the way Paul showed love to all he knew.Jim enjoyed working with Paul on the bridges.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Although I only knew him for a short while (7 years)I will miss his humor and the stories of his life and grandchildren whom he loved dearly. I will surely miss you Paul!
