I was lucky to work with Paul back in the day and they were great days because of Paul. As life goes by you realize that there are only so many people that impact or change your life for the better, Paul was one that really impacted mine. His sense of humor, intelligence and character will be missed but never forgotten. May god bless you and your family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

"Living the Life" were Paul's three favorite words and his daughters were his three favorite people. I first met Paul at Schaumburg Honda many years ago before he went to Arlington Lexus in Palatine. I bought from Paul many times simply because my wife and I liked him. His professionalism, sincerity and keen sense of humor endeared him to our whole family. As a neighbor in Long Grove, I found him and Eileen to be delightful , friendly and just nice people. Never a dull moment in the Batchen household. Just before he passed, we spoke of the time my electrician wired Paul's entire pool because he mistakenly went to Pauls house instead of mine. He gleefully wanted to know where to send the check. That's the kind of guy he was, considerate, quick and sharp. The only thing that truly ever aggravated him was his dog barking and chasing the neighbors. We will always have fond memories of Paul and his family. Godspeed Paul.

I knew Paul through my family that worked in the car business.
Paul had a very quick wit about him as he always had some clever quotes.
But when there was a situation that needed attention and Paul was aware of it he would be one of the first to step up and help.
God bless you Paul...
Rest in peace

Paul was one of my husband Al Marzano's best friends. He quickly became my beloved pal as well. We all know how sweet and funny Paul was, how much he loved his family. When Al passed, Paul was the first person to show up at my door, in tears, and helped me each step of the way. He even got my poor mother to laugh when we were choosing the headstone. Paul will be missed more than he could ever imagine. I take comfort in knowing Paul and Al are reunited in heaven. I hope the multitude of wonderful memories will sustain his children, family, and friends and keep him alive in all of our hearts. Love you, Paul.
