Patrick Walsh Obituary
Patrick A. Walsh, 88, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at A&M Assisted Living, Palm Bay, FL. He was born in Erie, PA and moved to Brevard County in 1987. Preceded in death by Lillian Hain Walsh, wife of 54 years.
Patrick retired from Bucyrus-Erie after 30 years of service. He worked an additional 20 years at Avis Rent-A-Car at Melbourne Int'l Airport.
Patrick attended Ascension Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus, Ancient Order of Hibernians, and Hollywood Estates Men's Club. He was a Radio Operator in the Army Air Corp during WWII and served in the China-Burma-India Campaign.
Surviving Patrick are his brother, Richard, and sister, Helen Behrendt, both of Erie, PA; sons, Patrick, Cochranton, PA, John, West Melbourne, FL, Michael, Spartansburg, PA, Brian, Melbourne, FL; daughters, Margaret Rapp, Erie, PA, Susan Bell, Fairview, PA; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Ascension Catholic Church at a later date.
Burial will be at Ascension Memorial Garden.
