Roche, Patrick Barrett Age 78, longtime resident of Western Springs, native of River Forest, passed away June 24, 2018. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Beloved husband for 51 years of the late Joyce "Marcie" Roche (nee Gould); loving father of Barbara (Paul) Brackey and Cindy (Jeff) Bejster; proud grandfather of Carli, Addison and Mia Brackey and Callie, Bella and Patricia Bejster; dear brother of Robert (Kathy) Roche, Mary Claire Mulvihill, Kathleen (John) Kinahan; and the late John F. III (late Ellen) Roche, Elizabeth (Stephen) Kennedy and Kevin McMahon; fond brother-in-law and loving uncle and cousin to many. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester (2 blks. West of Mannheim Rd.) on Friday, June 29th, 2018 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Chapel Prayers Saturday 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home going to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs, for 9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass. Barb, Cindy and the Roche family, my sincere sympathies on the loss of Patrick. I know he was welcomed by many an open arm, including his beloved wife, siblings, Mother, uncles and many more. He was a good soul and will be missed. Sorry I will not be able to attend the services but will be with you all in spirit. Love and comfort to you all.

So very sorry for this tremendous loss for this family. I had the pleasure of taking part in Patrick's care at Lagrange hospital as part of the Respiratory team. I am so glad I had the opportunity to talk to him and get to know him. He was a very kind man in spite of all of his health issues. Always put a smile on his face when I walked into the room. May he rest in peace.
