Patrick Morris Obituary

Pat, Merc, was such a great friend in the wheat pit. He helped me get through though times when I lost my dad in 2001 due to colon cancer. I will always hold a special spot in my heart to Merc. Thanks Pat!

There was no tougher competitor than Pat. He was by far the greatest player I ever played with or against. Pat was an even greater guy.

I just heard yesterday. He would always say extra prayers for extra credit. We would smile. He didn't need them. This was a really good man.

While I lost touch with Pat over the years, I never forgot the enormous amount of respect that I had for him. He was stoic, unflappable, intense and committed; a perfect teammate. He single handedly carried us through the 1969 Kennedy Cup Playoffs. What a great loss to all who knew and loved him. Godspeed Pat!
