Flaherty, Patrick F. age 95, beloved husband of the late Jeanne (nee Dillon). Loving Father of Mary Jeanne (Ron) Butera, Patrick (Imelda), the late Michael (Mary Kelly), John (Peggy), and Bridget (Jerry) Dwyer. Loving Grandfather of 11. Great-Grandfather of 14. Dear brother of the late Thomas (the late Mary Lou), the late Mary (the late Jack) O'Keeffe, the late Jack (the late Lynne), Nancy (the late Michael) Erskine, and the late James (Julie). Dear son of the late Paddy and Kate Flaherty, natives of County Galway, Ireland. Fond Brother-in-law of Mary Dillon Schwab and the entire Dillon family. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Retired C.P.S School Engineer, Local #143. Past Grand Knight, Fr. O'Connor Council #887 K. of C. Member of Tattler Post #973, American Legion, retired Irish American Center Boiler Steam Plant Volunteer and proud member of the Camp Lake Oaks Improvement Association. Proud Army veteran of the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations to IAHC boiler fund.
A visitation will be held Monday May 12, 2025 3:00pm- 8:00pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral mass Tuesday May 13, 2025 11:00am at St. Pascal Church. Interment Private.
