Dear Patty,
You have been a wonderful friend and coworker since we met at AMC O'Hare. Your hilarious emails brightened my days, the last of which I received on August 26, 2011. On August 31, I sent you an email asking you to let me know right away that you were ok as I hadn't heard from you in a couple. To the family of Patty, I am so sorry. I too, will miss her forever.
Love,
Kathy Fitzgerald

Pat, I will miss you so much. You always had a smile, a joke, something positive to say and made me laugh. I will miss laughing with you. I love you.

My Dear Friend, So many things I will miss about you, so many good times, so much laughter, and sometimes tears. It is not written anywhere how long we have here, but you have certainly left your mark on the world. I will miss your friendship. You will never be forgotten.Your leaving was swift, but your memory is eternal. Peace to you and eternal happiness. Kathy

Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.
