Panagoula Arvanitis Obituary

Arvanitis, Panagoula (Pat) 66, of Des Plaines, (formerly of Nestani, Greece), fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, July 23rd. Beloved wife of Peter T. Arvanitis, loving mother of Ted J. (Kathy) Arvanitis, Kostas P. (Panayiota) Arvanitis and Patrice A. (Perry) Bazianos; adored Yiayia (grandmother) of Paige, Peter T., Peter P., Panos and Anastasia (Tasha); sister and sister-in-law to many and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Visitation Sunday, July 29th, 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Oehler Funeral Home Des Plaines Chapel, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 30th at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines, IL. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church Building Expansion Fund, would be appreciated.
