Pamela Courshon. Age 69. Longtime Park Forest resident. Graduate of Crete-Monee High School Class of 1973. Retired from Castle Metals after 30 years' service, where she worked in logistics. Wife for 42 years of the late Leo Courshon. Mother to Benjamin "Ben" Courshon. Daughter of the late Alice and David Rhoda. Sister of Lori (David) Loos and Michael (Janet) Rhoda. Aunt, sister-in-law, and friend of many. Pamela enjoyed knitting, needle point, cooking for friends and family and was an avid reader. Active member of Faith Protestant (Abundant Grace Church of Christ in Homewood). Memorial Visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 12:00 pm until the time of Memorial Service 3:00pm. Burial private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Pamela's name to Silver Cross Hospital-U of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, c/o Memorial Fund, 5235 South Harper Court, 4 th Floor, Chicago, IL 60615 or giving.uchicago.edu, would be appreciated by the Courshon family.
