I knew Oscar back in the 1960's and 70's when he was Executive Director of the IFT and a friend. He was responsible for so many good things that have happened to teachers...a true pioneer. Tom Amato

Dear Kent, Laura & family, my deepest sympathy. Your dad and I were classmates and good friends sixty some years ago at McKendree College. I'll not forget the many hours we spent solving the world's problems through the wee hours of the morning! Oscar will not be forgotten.

You have my deepest sympathy. Oscar was a wonderful friend and great mentor to me. I learned so much from him and cherished the many evenings i spent with all of you in rochester. I am sorry i csan not be with you to celebrate oscar's ewonderful life. Emily and i are on vacation in salzburg, austria.
