I was so sorry to hear of Odell's passing. He was a wonderful person with a great personality. I was a student in one of his many American Sign Language classes. He was an outstanding instructor. He went out of his way to make sure we not only learned the language, but that we also learned more about his environment. I am very proud of the accomplishments he made as a postal employee and in his personal life. He was so richly blessed. Odell, may you rest in peace.

Even though I do not know him very well, he was very friendly and nice to me. He will be greatly missed and may God rest his soul. My condolences to his family.

Will greatly miss you for sure. You were my baby brother. Your smile always touched everyone and your encouragement while I was down was valuable and remembered. Surely, you left so suddenly. I was looking forward to many more meetings at Deaf Conferences, gatherings etc. I only had a chance to hug you in 2002 and then you are gone. May your soul rest in peace.

Odell was the first person I met when I joined the USPS in 1995. He is a wonderful man forever putting himself out to help the Deaf and HOH (at work) with their problems or situations. Odell will be missed BIG TIME! He is with God resting in peace, love ya!

Odell was like a brother to me.

We grew up together, from elementary school unit now.

He was always there for me and I was there for him, through good and bad times, and now he is gone.

I am very thankful that I got to know O'dell when I resided in Detroit, Michigan eleven years ago. I met him again at Deaf Way II in Washington DC.

There is one thing that I will always remember him being a PRINCE CHARMING and GENTLEMAN.

Odell...when I saw you at Deafway II in July 2002, little did I know that would be the last time I'd see you on this earth. Your ever-smiling face is still very clear in my mind. I'm going to miss you, man. Stay on with the Lord, Bro.

Along time friend gone!

Odell's passing comes as a complete shock to me. He will truly be missed in the deaf community and in my life. He was a great friend who always made me laugh. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Odell and my daughter Priscilla Gary sat together at Living Word Christian Center she is hearing impaired and he was a perfect role model for her. He would take her to some deaf events. Her father and i would

often ask him for his advice on somethings and he would gladly

give it to us. My daughter is now living in Washington D.C. We loved odell very very much and he will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. The homegoing was wonderful many people gave there life to christ Odell would be pleased.

My heart goes out to the family of Odell Price. I remember meeting him at Duane and Alisa's wedding. It was there I saw his sense of humor and sweet side. Will miss his sweet spirit.

I was so sorry to hear of Odell's death. I'm sure you'll miss him very much. He was a fine young man, and friend from Galludet University is in mourning for him. Please accept our sympathy and good wishes.

We "People from Whitney Young High School in Chicago" have a lot of wonderful memories of you. You have a lot of friends thinking of you! You are such as a nice fellow. All of us miss you.

I have known Odell for the 19 years that I have been in the Postal Service and he has always been an inspriation to all. Odell NEVER let anyone or anything stand in his way. His impairment only made him a better man both inside and outside. I was a student in his ASL class at the Post Office. Those of us who knew Odell can only say nice and good things about him, so I need not say anymore but Odell we all love you and you will be missed. Rest In Peace.

Odell encouraged me to do this. I will truly miss him, however I do know where he is and I will see him again. I will keep you all in my prayers.

ODELL WAS A SPECIAL AND KINDHEARTED PERSON. I FIRST MET ODELL WHEN HE ENTERED THE POSTAL SERVICE AS A LSM OPERATOR IN JUNE 1985. I WAS HIS FIRST SUPERVISOR. I CAME TO LOVE AND RESPECT HIM FOR HIS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO OVERCOME HIS ADVERSITY AS A HEARING IMPAIRED EMPLOYEE IN THE POSTAL SERVICE. UNDER HIS GUIDANCE AND TRAINING HE TAUGHT ME SIGN LANGUAGE SO THAT I WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIM AND OTHERS.IN ADDITION I ATTENDED SOME CLASSES WITH HIM IN ORDER TO HONE MY NEWLY AQUIRED SKILL OF SIGNING. I WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN HIM APPLYING FOR THE JOB OF SUPERVISION BECAUSE I KNEW HE HAD THE ABILITY TO DO IT.I WANT THE FAMILY TO KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BY HIS FRIENDS AT THE US POSTAL SERVICE.
