Although decades have passed since Norma left this earthly home her memories are with us. She is still inspiring us. Her good works and kindness forever touched our hearts. We think of her when we do every day things like the morning crossword puzzles. I wonder what she would be saying about the schools now. May her memories continue to be a blessing to all of us.

Although the years have passed I think of you often and send a prayer your way. The daily crossword puzzle reminds me of you and how we sat together at CPS meetings. So many of our colleagues are with you now. You are missed on this earthly abode but we cherish all memories

I was one of the lucky children of Lewis School who had Mrs. Wilkins for a principal. I remember her as a kind, generous and compassionate woman. She always did her best to know what was going on in a student’s world. If she knew, you were having a difficult time at home or your family was going through a rough time, she would always take a moment to discover whether or not you were OK. She was not only a champion of her students but she took the time to guide, encourage and uplift the parents of Lewis School as well.
My heartfelt condolences go out to her family on the loss of such a spectacular person.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Aunt Norma as we lovingly referred to her, cared for us as children and we became the "daughters" and "sisters" to the family when we were all very young children. I will always remember her as a wonderful, accomplished woman and as a second mom! We too just experienced the loss of our mother Peggy so I understand the deep sorrow you all must feel. God bless and keep you during this difficult time. You are in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Morma's family. She was so proud of you. We heard about your accomplishments at the monthly principals' meetings. She could do the crossword puzzle in rapid time as wella s the Jumble. I remember that she completed her law degree after she left CPS. We used to meet a few times ayear for lunch at a downtown hotel or restaurant during our yers as principals. This vibrant dedicated woman has influenced and positively directed thousands of young people. While we will miss her, we know that God has welcomed her with the words"Well done good and faithful servant."
I regret that I am unable to personally extend my sympathy to you. Know thatyou are in my thoughts and prayers.

You will always be in ours hearts

Norma was one the people most I remember as a young child growing up. My mother; Edna Oates (Somerville) & her were very close friends. She taught me how to swim at Abraham Lincoln Centre Camp where many of my early summer years were spent. She will truly be missed.
