My Dearest Norb:
It's hard to believe, one year ago today, July 07 2010, God came and took you away. For twenty four years, we were never apart, so it is very hard to make a new start. I still kiss your picture and say good morning and good night, and I could hear you say "It will be all right".
We made a good pair during our time together; whether it was good times or bad times, we always had each other. Holding your picture, I danced a polka or waltz with you. It's not the same, but it will have to do. Where ever I go and what ever I do, I know your love and memories will pull me through.
Sharing a life with someone you love, is the greatest gift and it comes from above. When I get to heaven, know what I intend to do? Walk up to you and say "Norb, I want to polka with you". Love, Always, Forever and a Day

Dear Kevin:
I am so sorry I missed your father's visitation. My deepest sympathy to you. Prayers were with you that day when I got the news and through the days of his services. Each day keep him 'alive' remembering times you had with him. Take care.

Kev, I stopped by the funeral home this morning but you were not there yet. I wanted to tell you that I really liked your dad, that he was a straight-up guy, very interesting and pleasant. You were lucky to have had such an unique relationship with your dad, and it's those memories that you'll have forever.

I really enjoyed talking with Norb when he was in charge of making sure Lindy's was running fine when everyone was on vacation. It was really nice of him to fill in when the place was sooo empty. I pray for him and may he rest in peace. At least his suffering is now over and he is in a better place.
