I was with Noah when when he hit his first and maybe only hole in one at the Wilmette Golf Course. Dawn was upon us and we were rushing to get finished with hole 17. I hit my ball and finished up. He was still looking for his ball but kind of gave up. Then I finished and got to the hole. What did I happen to find in there...his ball. He was so overjoyed he started jumping around and yelling in excitement. I don't think I ever saw the guy so happy.

Dear Steve and Ellen,
I am so saddened to hear about your enormous loss. I feel it to the depths of my spirit.
I know that people who have lost their own children have reached out to you. These are people you never knew had suffered the same kind of loss. And as they reach out to you, it can help the healing process for all of you. One of my friends who lost her 6 year old son instantly, said "I never knew that with the very worst would also come the very best." I hope that as your healing continues that there is some "best" that arrives on your doorstep.
sending you much love,
Meryl Abramson

Dear warsaw family,
I had the pleasure of working next to Noah at Group One for a couple of years. He was very under-stated and one of the most diligent traders at the firm. His career success in the last few years reflected his work ethic and discipline, and everyone who worked with him expected big things to come. On a personal note, I truly enjoyed Noah's sense of humor and his positive energy. Despite his shortened time, please be assured Noah inspired many of us. Seth

I only interacted briefly with Noah in Booth in a couple of classes (I believe we were also in the same orientation group) but he came across as a genuine, intelligent chap. I came across his trading floor videos by chance and was impressed by his eloquence and erudition. I hope your faith gives you the strength to overcome this tragic loss. Deepest sympathies...Sriram (Gurnee, IL).

Dear Steve and Family, i was in Florida when Mike Hilborn called me to ask if you lived in Skokie and had a son named Noah. I answered in the affirmative and asked why. I was devastated when he told me why as I remembered all the times I heard you talking about Noah at lunch or the office and would go on as to "what a great kid" he was, over and over and how fond you were of him. It also brought back memories of our almost losing our oldest daughter at 22 years of age, who also like Noah, attended Miami of Ohio and how devastated we were at the time. I feel your pain and extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and Ellen. We'll talk about it at lunch some time in the future. I'll bring the box of Kleenex.

You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers.
