Nicole Homer Obituary

Nicole Caroline Homer 1990 ~ 2005 Our Angel daughter and sister Nicole Caroline Homer returned to her Heavenly Father on August 31, 2005, in the loving arms of her parents Kent and Camille Homer. Nicole died on her father's birthday and the eve of her 15th birthday. She was born Sept 1, 1990, in Sandy, Utah. She is the youngest of eight children. Nicole liked tickles, kisses, and being with her family. She enjoyed attending Jordan Valley School where she loved her teachers and friends. Our family would like to thank the staff for their kindness and support. We admire Nicole's example of patience and enduring well many physical challenges. We will miss having her sweet spirit in our home. Nicole is survived by her parents, Kent and Camille; siblings, Lisa (Brandon) Johnson, Beverly, Rachel (Kendall) Schafer, Heather (Scott) Tasker, Benjamin, Natalie and Megan; grandparents, LaRue and Louise Miller of Venice, UT, and Julia Homer of Sandy. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Evan Homer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Willow Canyon 8th Ward Building, Countrywood (1700 East) and Buttercup (10100 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held this Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., Sandy. I want to express a special thanks to you. You hold a place in my heart. I have watched you grow over the last few years in to an exceptionally fine young woman. Nicole will miss you as much as you miss her. I have never seen a sweeter sister. Thank you for the example you set for me. I love your smile and tender heart. I hope you will recieve comfort as you think of your little sister.

Dear Camille and Kent,

You have been such wonderful examples of strength and kindness to me. I have observed so much tenderness displayed by your family. I was especially touched as I sat behind you in church 2 weeks ago and watched as Megan held and caressed Nicole's hand. Nicole must be so proud of you and be so grateful to you for your love and devotion. She is a pure soul and loves you all so much. I am sure that you know and feel that. My heart goes out to you at this time. I pray the Lord's most tender blessings upon you.

Dear Camille and Kent,

Bonnie & I grieve at the loss of your precious Nicole. What a blessing to know you have one child ALREADY WORTHY of the CELESTIAL KINGDOM!! You both have submitted patiently and cheerfully to all the will of the Lord. You have loved and sacrificed unconditionally and willingly to bring Nicole into this mortal existence. She has completed her mission and will await you and your family in our Father's Kingdom. May the Lord fill you with that peace which passes all understanding. We love you and pray for you this day and always.
