Vardalos, Nicholas George 59, passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family. Nicholas, husband of Patricia (nee Georgelos); cherished son of George and the late Aikaterini; dearest brother of Christine (Konstantinos) Alexopoulos, Bill (Maria) Vardalos and Helen (Lambros) Maridakis; dear son-in-law of Peter and Basie Georgelos; fond brother-in-law of Nikolaos (Susan) Georgelos, Sam (Connie) Georgelos, and George (Sofia) Georgelos; loving uncle of George, Patricia, Katerina, Denise, Natalia, Amanda, Elizabeth, Danae, Donovan, Zoe, Peter, Valerie, Ivan, Valerie, Patricia, Pamela, Victoria and Eva; godfather of Angela, Valerie, George, Bill, and Thanos. Nick was a loving husband and devoted family member. He was a second father to his nieces and nephews. The kind-heartedness and the warm glow he brought to his family will not soon be forgotten. Nick was a CPA with his own practice in Palos Hills, Illinois. He devoted his time to his clients, and was considered a great friend by many. He was a member of the Illinois CPA Society, many professional organizations, AHEPA, Oak Lawn chapter and a generous philanthropist in the Greek American community. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
