Korean Veteran, cherished father of Dr. Thomas (Dr. Karen) and Helene (Michael) McNicholas, fond grandfather of Stephanie, Katherine and Zoe Balaskas and Ellen, Michael and Christine McNicholas, dear brother of Anastasia (Gust) Danegelis, Ted Dulles, and the late Kiki, the late Spero (Shirley) and the late Nina Zettas, special friend to Eleni Priami, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to many. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 a.m, from Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem, to The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (Harrison and Central), 601 S. Central. Services 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Info., 773-889-1700.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Tom & Karen, Helene & Michael,
What a colorful character your father was and one could easily tell just how proud he was of his children. It was also evident just how much he loved all his grandchildren. Although we didn't know him well, it was a joy to see him when he came to Grand Rapids with a leg of lamb and bottles of wine......we feel fortunate to have spent time with him.
