Nathaniel Whitmal Obituary

Whitmal, Nathaniel age 71, of Chicago, beloved husband of 46 years to Yolanda, loving father of Nathaniel Anthony (Angie) and Angela Maria Whitmal, proud grandfather of Ayana, Nia and Nathaniel Malcolm, and beloved brother of Iris Troutman and Lois Parks. Nate was born on July 28, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Chicago at the age of 4. After earning his CPA license in 1968, Nate worked in executive positions at Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Zenith Electronics Corporation, later owning and operating an Oil Express Franchise for 17 years. He enjoyed playing golf and vacationing with his wife and family. Visitation will be Friday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m. at A.A. Rayner and Sons, 318 E. 71st Street, until time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Columbanus Church, 331 E. 71st Street. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery, 12300 South Kedzie, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA, 01202, would be appreciated.
