It was with great sadness today that I learned of Nate's passing last week. I worked in real estate with Nate in the 1970's. Two years ago, Nate asked if he could speak at one of my office meetings, even thought he was retired from the business. He did, and it was a night we will never forget. We had lunch a couple of months ago and I showed him the construction site for my new Century 21 office. I was looking forward to showing him the finished product, but I guess that won't happen. Nate lived life to the fullest and never tired of learning new things. I will never forget the guided tour he gave us of Maxwell Street before it was dismantled. I think I still have the cassette tape. Nate was an inspiration and will be missed very much.

Uncle Nate was a one of a kind type of guy. I have a vivid memory of him dressing up as Santa Claus while speaking Yiddish. You can't beat that for a great memory! He was loved and he'll be missed.

I want to express my sincere condolences to all of you, it sadden me greatly when my father called me yesterday. I was looking in the tribune and did not see the notice but I found it today. I appologize for not being there to say goodbye to your dad. I truely loved both your dad and your mom. It wasn't until I was around 10 years old that I found out that Uncle Nate and Aunt Rhoda were really not blood related but in heart they will always be my Aunt and Uncle. They will be missed but always with me.
Sincerely
Robert Lewin

I've known Nate for many years. He was an inspiration to his many friends that would meet every Sunday for a few hours in Glenview. He was a good friend and a joy to be with. I'll remember him always. I'm sorry for your loss.
