Nancy McClury Obituary

Nancy J. McClury of Carpentersville Funeral services for Nancy J. McClury, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Faith Lutheran Church, Carpentersville. The Rev. Bruce W. Meissner, pastor, will officiate. Born June 20, 1931, in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Seminole (nee Hetherington) Peterson, she died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will take place in Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary, following the services. Mrs. McClury was a resident of the Carpentersville area for many years and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Carpentersville. She is survived by her husband, Daniel; daughter, Stacy (Carl) Kelly of East Dundee; son, Greg (Sue) Lazenby of Huntley; grandchildren, Christina (Doug) Freund of Lake in the Hills, Benjamin (Mary) Kelly of Carpentersville, Stephen Lazenby of Cary and Nora Kelly of East Dundee; great-grandson, Dereck Kelly of East Dundee; and her sisters, Betty Peterson of Elgin and Joy (Jim) Adcock of Hazelcrest. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son and daughter in infancy. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, at the church. Memorials may be made to either the Faith Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army.
