Dear Lorraine,

Mo's passing is hard to believe. My memories of him are mostly from my childhood, where your family and mine were so close. I remember avidly reading the comic books in your kitchen, the warm chaos of a house with four children and lots of love. Mo's endless jokes always impressed me, along with his willingness to be silly. He was a wonderful man.

I'm sorry to miss the funeral, but I will see you later this week.

Love, Karen
