Marion, David, Michael and Jonathan,

Please accept our sincerest expression of sympathy at what must be a very difficult time. Our hearts were wrenched and saddened upon hearing, and we struggle to come to grips even now. Growing up he was Uncle Monte to our family, as an adult I came to know this was more than a nickname because Monte made it so. He was a kind, warm friend there in times of need, uncommonly wise and circumspect. In his prescience one felt respected and cared about. He was generous with his time and energy. His spirt was noble and his soul compassionate. One cannot know the pain of another however, we can see from what we knew of the man that your loss is indeed great. May he rest in peace, he will be missed.

Marion, David, Michael, Jonathan, daughters-in-laws, grandchildren. I worked with Monte for several years (1967) and we kept in touch throughout the many years since that time. As you all know, he was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful person and it was so obvious how very much he cherished his lovely wife, sons and grandchildren. He was a very proud man. How blessed I was to know Monte and claim him as a "friend". To all of his loved ones, I share your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. What a "special" man among men and a brilliant attorney always willing to go the "extra step". 6/20/04

It is very difficult to even think that I am writing this, but I want you to understand that both Jorge and I are with you in your time of grief even tho we are so far away.
