Milan Sluka Obituary

Sluka, Milan Of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully at the age of 93, on December 27, 2018. He was residing at Avantara in Park Ridge since 2016. For 50 years he was co-owner of a furniture manufacturing company with his late brother, Steve E. Sluka. He was a generous supporter for many years of several organizations for the blind and also was active in Trinity Lutheran Church. Special uncle of Ellen (Derek) Garnjost and Steve M. Sluka; godfather of Steven Frano and Elizabeth Schutler. He was a kind gentleman who will be greatly missed. Visitation Sunday, December 30, 2018, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Entombment will be private at Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hadley School for the Blind, 700 Elm Street, Winnetka, IL 60093 and The Chicago Lighthouse, 1850 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608 appreciated.
