Dear Cookie,
We were very sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a great guy and also a wonderful musician. There were many times while we lived in Chicago and when we visited Chicago(after moving to denver) that the place on 26th street where he worked had to be a place we had to stop and visit with him. Even our two youngest girls remember going there and dancing to his music!! He always was a big hit with them!! Please accept our sympathies and extend to your family also. We found out about his death from "Sugar" and although it took a little time, I'm glad that we were able to post a note to you. Our best for all of you,
Your cousin Ray & Carole

To the man that was not just my "Daod" ,you are my Father of 44 yrs.
From your foresight, guidence, understanding, caring ,and some sarcasm which was needed now and then patience and love. Having raised Thomas and me,you've taught us to be the better person.
I'll walk in your foot steps just as you have walked his in Jerusalem. My heart hurts but I thank God yours is at peace.
