Vito, Michael James 33, of Emington, IL died on Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Survivors include his wife, Dee Ann; his son, Ethan; stepchildren: Ashley Karraker, Shaine and Mercedies Acevedo, all at home; his parents James D. and Carol (nee Lenzi) Vito, Cabery, IL; sisters: Lisa Vito, Stickney; Sharon (Ron DeFord) Vito, Cullom, IL; Sue (Rob) Roggenburg, Reddick, IL; brother: Tim (Amy) Vito, Reddick, IL; many nephews and a niece. Visitation Friday, from 2 to 9 p.m., in St. John's Lutheran Church Hall, Cullom, IL. Funeral Saturday, at 11 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church Hall. Burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Cullom. Memorials may be made for the family. Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Cullom, IL, 815-689-2368.

wow guys can you believe that it has almost been a year! its crazy because everyday i still miss him the same! Ethan is starting to act so much like mike now and that is something we all can be thankful for!! this year has been tough, it was hard to do the things our family used to because he made them so much better!! i want to thank everyone who has been there over this past year Mike would have been greatful!! thank you so much from his family!

It was way to soon for him to go, but i think the one thing that we will all remember about Mike is the warmness that he brought into the room just by being there! he is greatly missed and there is a empty spot in all our hearts that will never be filled again, until one day we will all be together as a famiily again! and to think he missed the Bears first Great season! so lets all go out and watch a bears game in his memory! GO BEARS! we love u Mike!
