Although Mike and I worked in the same school for many years, it wasn't until we met at our radiation treatments that I first really met him 15 months ago.
We found out we had the same surgeons, oncologists, and radiologist and the same diagnosis. I only knew him as a fellow brain tumor patient. What we shared was unique. We gave each other Hope. Mike seemed to never be without hope. He took everything in stride. I learned from him how to deal with me own anxiety. He was a very brave man. I am so sorry for his loss. I pray that the family will be comforted and have the courage that Mike did.My sincere sympathy to all of you.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Michael Scrofani's death; having been involved with Mike in a professional relationship that lasted from 1981 - 1986. In addition to proving himself to be a gifted and sincere psychologist, he will indeed remain a trusted friend.
My sincere condolences to his wife, daughter and son.
