Michael Pavic Obituary
41, lifelong Southside Chicago resident, died on August 4, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of David Pavic Sr. and Vera Pavic (Sapunar); loving brother of Sandra Pavic, DO, David Jr. (Christine) Pavic, and James Pavic; cherished uncle of Amanda and Julia; fond nephew of the late Anthony Pavic and Aunt "Millie" Smiljana Sapunar.
Mike attended St. Rene Goupil Elementary School and graduated from Brother Rice High School. He attended Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, majoring in Psychology. Mike loved music and was an excellent piano player. He was an avid animal lover, and devoted his attention and care to his 4 cats. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including friends and relatives in Europe.
Visitation will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Saturday, August 27, 2022 with chapel prayers at 9 a.m. to St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 5300 S. Natoma Ave. Chicago for a 10 a.m. Mass of Chrisitan Burial. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
MASKS WEARING IN ENCOURAGED WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org would be appreciated.

Michael, we miss & love you still every day. Olivia canine misses you dearly. We visited Your grave this past week at Resurrection Cemetery. Not a moment goes by,that you are not mentioned or thought of fondly. We will wait until we are reunited with You again one day in Heaven.
