Hey Dad it's me. Letting you know you're on my mind more because of the time of year. We know you're looking over us all of the time - we can feel it and of course there's always the 333 showing up. That's a sure way for us to remind us you're here with us. Our family is growing constantly and getting together is always a good time with lots of hugs, kisses and laughter. Hey gramps, hard to believe 7 years have come and gone! So much has happened in our family, not that you need me to tell you becuase I know you are watching us all everyday thinking how proud you are of most of us and how you would like to whip a few of us into shape :)!! Can you believe gram got a dog, and a little dog at that, I know you are up there looking down thinking "this is a joke" but gramps I have to say she is happy, happier then I have seen her in a long time. There is so much I could tell you, we are all growing up, going in directions we never thought possible...please continue to watch over our family and keep us going, we all need it somedays. Thanks for everything grandpa! I love you grandpa and miss you so much!

Hey Dad, Seven years goes by quicker than you think. So much has happened but nothing happens without you in our hearts and thoughts. Family is growing and growing. Hey Grandpa, been thinking alot about you lately, and seem to "see" you all the time. Im sure you know but there are 3 additions to our family coming soon, and everyone is so excited. It's been 2 years now. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that you left us and sometimes it feels like forever. They say time heals all wounds - "they" must have not lost a loved one. We miss you at all the holidays, birthdays and weddings as well as every day. One of us is bringing up a saying you used to say or something that happened regarding you. Mom is doing okay. She is the strongest of all of us, but I know she misses you the deepest. We all are happy when we get together and do our crying when we are alone. Just letting you know we miss you greatly and love you deeply.

It is so hard to believe that it has been a year since you left us. We all miss you very much and think about you everyday. We all went to church yesterday and Mom had a beautiful breakfast for you. You don't realize how much you were loved. There was around 40 people at your house, and they were all there to remember you. The day you died,

God said to me,

I saw he was aching i saw he was in pain

Wow gramps its hard to believe a year has gone by already I miss you so much. Gram is doing ok it seems but you can tell she misses you soo much... we all do!!! Things havent been the same without you..but dont worry all your little jokes u said and did are still alive and going lol I love you papa!!!! Well christmas was different without you we all still are unbelievebly spoiled but thats a given ( haha) my birthday was awesome sweet 16 i got everything i wanted well except a car but mom and dad say im not ready for that and i think there right. I know you were with me the day of my accident cuz without u i may have gotten hurt!!! Grandpa o love you and miss you soo much your always with me, theres not a day that goes by that i dont think of you soo much stuff reminds me of you!!!! keep being my guardian angel gramps, watch over me and keep me safe!!!!!!!!!!! : )

Dear Dad,

Who would have guessed a year ago that our lives would be changing so much in a short time? Christmas was nice but also sad, of course. We received beautiful gifts from Mom and Cheryl. Sorry I don't go to the cemetary to often but you know I'm always thinking about you and also talking to you about everything. I'm still missing you as much or even more today as I did 10 months ago. Well the White Sox did it! I know you were their "Angel in the Outfield". I wish they could have done it while you were still with us. You know we all thought of you during every game and after every win, wishing you were here to enjoy the victory with us. So many things that happen to us daily bring you to mind. I was very sorry to read of your great loss, I attended Fulton 8th grade with you. I read of your father's passing and I immediately thought of you, please take care of your Mom she is going to need you.

I don't know if this is the right thing to say but "Happy Birthday". It's been 7 weeks now that you're gone. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and sometimes it seems so long since I've hugged you. Each time any of us get together, there is always something said about you. I know this will always happen because you are always with each of us. They say live goes on but I feel something is always missing without you being there humanly. Thank you for all you've taught me and given me. I hope I pass it all on to my children. Boy, do I miss you!

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know Michael well, I do go way back with the Kelly family. Growing up I spent many hours at your home on 52nd Street. I can still taste your mother' home made cake and see your father sitting there watching the tiny black and white tv while eating a pint of ice cream and drinking his Pepsi. And of course Ron was banging on the piano. I can still hear him playing "Buttons and Bows". Later I connected with the Ortmans at Fulton and Nightingale schools. Give them all my best.
