Michael Nikcevich Obituary

Nikcevich, Michael "Mitch" age 78, December 31, 2001, late of Flossmoor, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of Judith Jean (nee Kardos), loving father of Mark Joseph of Pompano Beach, FL, dear brother of Milan (Barbara) Nikcevich of Lansing, IL and the late Nada Carich of Chicago, brother-in-law of Richard and James (Joy) Kardos and Lynn (the late William) Metcalf, also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Life member and past commander of Southtown Chapter #25 D.A.V.; Fifty-year member of West Englewood Lodge #1074 A.F. & A.M.; 32nd Degree Mason and member of Scottish Rite. A licensed structural engineer, Mr. Nikcevich was an alumnus of U. of I. (Champaign) School of Engineering 1950, receiving a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Contributions to the American Parkinson Disease Foundation, 1250 Hylen Blvd., Suite #4- B, Staten Island, New York 10305-1946. Committal services Thursday, January 3, 2002, 2 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Please omit flowers. James J.
