Michael Nardulli Obituary
Nardulli, Michael L. beloved husband of Josephine "Shaw" (nee Scalera), cherished father of Jeannine Nardulli and the late Michael J. Nardulli, devoted son of the late Michael and Ann (nee Russo), fond brother of the late Marie T. (the late Edwin) Doody, the late Jack (the late Mary) Nardulli, the late Francis Nardulli, the late Cordelia Nardulli and the late Lenore Nardulli, dear uncle of many nieces, nephews and friends. During his many years of service was included military service in the U.S. Army WWII, State of Illinois Representative for the 19th Congressional District, Alderman of Chicago's 26th Ward and member of the Control Pollution Board. Funeral Thursday, 8:30 a.m., from Salerno's Galewood Chapels, Vitucci Sons Directors, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., to Santa Maria Addolorata Church, 528 N. Ada St., Chicago, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Info 773-889-1700.

I thought of Uncle Mike as my "Chicago" father. Family was the most important thing to him and I was honored to be part of his loving family.

To the family of Alderman Nardulli:
I spoke to the Alderman barely two months ago and I am so glad that we were able to catch up on each other's lives. He sounded good natured and in good health as he praised his daughter for her devotion to her mother. He spoke so lovingly and tenderly of his wife that it was obvious they had a good marriage. I'd known the Alderman for many years as a very good friend of the public officials I worked for. I offer his loved ones my deepest sympathy on his passing. I will remember him in my prayers. He was a fine man and it is my privilege to have known him.
