Michael MURRAY Obituary

Age 66, of St. Paul Highland Park Born Nov. 1946 to Jim and Doreen Murray in Grand Forks, N.D. Graduated from St. Thomas in 1968, served four years as an Air Force captain, earned his MBA at the University of Utah. Worked for many years as a financial analyst for Dayton's, NCR, and AT&T before retiring in 1995. Friends and family remember him as an engaging and entertaining "Papa" to his three grandchildren (Gaby, Bennett, Wesley), an astute bridge and poker player, animated storyteller, and loving husband and father. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Margaret. Survived by wife Terry; daughters Regan Murray (Nic) of Bloomington and Heather Hansen (Andy) of Cottage Grove; grandchildren, and three siblings. Special thanks to sister-in-law Elizabeth Knoblauch for her care and support. Private family burial at Fort Snelling. All are welcome to an open house to celebrate Mike's life Aug. 6, 3-6 p.m., Canterbury Park Shakopee, Ascot Room. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donors' choice. Arr.
