Dear Sandy and family,
I was very saddened by the news of Mike's death. I've known him for over thirty years as both my customer and my friend. We talked about our children as they were growing up. Mike did several projects for me at home and at my barbershop. He was a helplful, honest man of his word. I truly will miss seeing him and will miss our conversations about our families; in particular, his grandchildren. May God bless all of you at this time of sorrow, and may Mike find eternal peace.
With deepest sympathy,
Joe Labriola, Mike's barber

I'm deeply saddened by your loss. May the dear lord bless
Mike and his entire family. Mike was a great mentor, teacher, and a student's friend. Everybody enjoyed the way he would take the time to say hello to all student not just the one's in his class at the end of each period outside his wood shop class everyday. Mike was a leader with a great vision and kindness. This vision and experience what Mike has taught me over the four years that I have known him have utilized it in the most productive way. Mike was a great man with a big heart. I hope my kids can be as fortunate as I was to experience what true standards of teaching should really be. "Class of 82"
