I am very very sorry, I didn't get to know him very well, but his memories will live forever in my mind. He was a great man, very funny, I will always remember him doing a great imitation of Donald Duck, I just thought that was the greatest. I wish I could have gotten to know him better. My prayers go out to all the family...

Mike had a nickname of "Buddy" when we were growing up, all the boys on Carpenter and Aberdeen streets called him "Buddy" and I guess the girls did to. We are missing our Buddy right about now but we are thankful that he is out of pain. May he rest in peace. Love Joan McAleenan Chiaro

Missie, Lori and Ellie, you have gone through so much these past months. I can't imagine losing both parents in such a short time. I hope you find comfort with family and friends. Sorry we can't be out there to give you hugs. We are thinking of you and glad that Uncle Mike isn't in pain anymore. We are so happy that he came out to California last month and we got to go out to dinner with him one last time. xxx ooo Love Cathy Chiaro and Jim Bidner

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
