I knew Michael for a long time; his whole life. I first encountered him through my mother, Janice, who led a Catholic religious group called SPRED (SPecial Religious Education). Michael and Ed and Pearl were active in it.

I will miss Michael. He touched my life as he did many others. He fulfilled God's purpose and he did it well. May perpetual light shine upon him.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one.

I thank God for Michael's life and for the gift of loving him, and I pray God bring comfort to all who morn him. I will deeply miss Mikey.

Words cannot express the totality of one's life or the impact one has on the lives of others. Anyone who met Michael, walked away enriched by him. He will be missed by all and forgotten by none.

Michael, through you I learned the true meaning of special!

What a happy, loving person Michael was. Our heartfelt sympathy to the Matuga family and especially to his sister Jan who proudly included him in in our day-to-day activites growing up. His laughter was infectious, we loved having him with us and he taught us all what unconditional love is about!
