May your memory be a blessing to all that know you. I remember when Michelle and Brandon were born on the same day at the same hospital. You were a kind, neighbor, nice person, great and dedicated father. So glad I just saw you and Brandon recently. May you rest in peace.

I've known Michael for a number of years & other than his devotion to Brandon, I had no idea how involved he was in so many causes. Never, ever mentioning that in itself is a testament to the selflessness of michael. A truly remarkable man and he will be missed by many. Our condolences Barry & Val

Michael, I am still shocked regarding the news of your passing! Our friendship goes back "43" years! Although we didn't see one another a lot in recent years, whenever we did the genuine friendship we shared always remained. You were my 7th grade love and I will always remember that! Our friendship remained strong throughout the years. I am thrilled I had the opportunity to meet Brandon. I was so impressed with him. R.I.P. my wonderful friend! You always made me feel so special!

I met Michael at an event that I co-Direct with Eric Smith, 5k Run/Walk Rally For Autism. He came every year with Brandon at his side; always with a positive attitude, smiling and asking what he could do to help at our event. My deepest condolences to Brandon and the Kanter family. May his memory be for a blessing.

My deepest sympathy to Brandon and Michael's family.
Michael served many years on the Autism Society of Illinois Board of Directors. As the Executive Director, during his reign, I witnessed first hand his passion and desire to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families. He often went to great lengths to create opportunities where none were in existence. He has touched so many of us in ways we can never repay. Michael.. Your love and grace will forever be in the midst of the autism community and our hearts. RIP Sir Michael :-)
