Michael Jerva Obituary

My deepest sympathies to your family. I worked with him at Mercy hospital. We just ran into each other about a couple of months ago at Morton Arboretum. It was a pleasure to see and converse with him again. He was a wonderful man.

My deepest condolences to your family. Dr. Jerva was my son's adviser and mentor during his medical school at UIC (1997-2001). Dr. Jerva was a generous and caring person whose career in pediatric neurosurgery is a valued legacy. His career and achievements will be remembered by all who knew him. He will remain in our prayers.

Sister Helen and Sister Marie Cecile send our prayers and deep sympathy on reading of the death of Dr. Jerva. We have many fond memories of him and of you and your family when we were at SS Faith, Hope and Charity. May the Lord give you strength and support during these difficult days. We would surely be at his Funeral Mass but will be out of town at this time. Blessings on you all!

Dr. Jerva will be greatly missed. I worked for Dr. Jerva at his office on Michigan Ave. He was certainly more than a "boss", he was a friend, advisor and a great golf partner. He will always be an inspiration to me. I will never forget his stories, he always had one to tell.

The entire Almond Family was deeply sadden to hear of Dr. Jerva's death. His great memory will always be in my mind. Our prayers go to the entire Jerva family for having the strength of dealing with their loss.
