Scott, Paul, Barry & Jeffrey,
I worked for your Dad for over 20 years. He impacted my life and molded the way I do things, even 15 years after last seeing him. You lost a wonderful father. We lost a great friend.

Scott,Paul,Barry and Jeffrey,

Your dad was so very proud of all of you. I've known your dad for 35 years, of which he recently reminded me ! Mike started working with my husbands accountant , Jack Oberlander, whose business he eventually took over. I used to work with him on the books every month when he came to the business and yes I remember his curly hair.

It was neat how he caught up with us by also having four fine sons. I will miss him very much and I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your families. I finally got to meet all of you in person, I just wish it would have been under different circumstances.

With sincere Sympathy and Prayers,

Loni and I wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Michael. I will personally miss him more that anyone can know. He was my "gumba" -that's family in Italian. We laughed, worried and solved the world's problems in our many conversations. I knew Michael for over 20 years and if it had been double that, it would not have been long enough. Good-bye my dear friend.

My Sincere Condolences to the Horwitz Family,

I thoroughly enjoyed Michael's visits to my office over the past 18 years. He brought his financial advice, his knowledge, his goodness, his wit, and a great sense of humor. He will be missed very much.

To Michaels Sons,

I have known Michael for 18 years. I will miss him very much. He always made me laugh; what a good man he was and I know he instilled his goodness in his children. You children are very lucky to have had a man like Michael touch your lives, even though it was for a short time. I hope this sorrowful time passes quickly for you so you can focus on Michael's life, not his death.

Dear Jeffrey, Barry, Scott, Paul & Vicki:

We are sure you know how much he loved you. He spoke so highly of each of you all of the time. It was obvious that you were most important to him in his life. He was a true friend and advisor to us. We feel honored to have known him and as deeply as we feel his loss we cannot even begin to imagine the loss that you feel. Please know that we owe a great debt to him for everything that he did for us (both personally and at American Tank Inc.). If ever we can do anything for you, it would be both an honor and a privelege to do so. He truly was one of the greatest men we have ever met and he will be sorely missed.

You had a good father. In the future you will be a good father too. When the time passes by the sorrow will give room to good memories. The apple tree has survived and is missing you. And so are we.

Dear Vicki,

Our deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers are with you, Bradley, Amy, and Michael's family at this most difficult time. We had the distinct pleasure of meeting Michael at Bradley's graduation party. He was most charming, gracious, and amusing. He took great pleasure in providing a picture by picture narration of the Mexico trip plus providing excellent dining suggestions. May your memories of him be of the wonderful times you spent together. Sincerely, Sonny and Stu Bechler

We convey our condolences to Michael's family, whom we have not met except for their pictures in Michael's office. Michael was a loving, caring and sincere gentleman. He quickly became a friend to us, beyond business relationship, with his wise and insightful advise on the importance of family. We will miss him.

Dear Scott,

Our thoughts and sympathy are with you. Although we did not have a chance to get to know your father, his loss has touched us as deeply as if we had known him for long. We can only imagine what a wise and wonderful father he was for you. It will always be difficult not to have him around for everything you would like him to be. But remember, while physically no longer at your side, he will continue to guide you through your life.

We only new Mike through the performances that Mike's son Barry, and our son Robert had together. But during those times I could see how supportive and proud that Mike was of Barry and his music. We will miss him.
