Miss you Michael. We went to Cantigny to see a band play 2 weeks ago and it reminded me when we went to see Lt. Dan Band there a few years ago.

Still think about Michael and it always brings a smile to my face remembering him

Michael and Billy are in my thoughts and prayers every day. Very wonderful memories are all that remains and trust that is with everyone that knew them!

I just found out, and I send my love to the family.I have always regarded my time working at Fisher Container as one of the happiest times in my life. We were a family and I missed everyone so much. Michael was an exceptional person, a friend and mentor. Billy brought such hoy to the world. I always looked forward to his visits to the office. They will be remembered and missed. Not a week goes by that I don't remember how Michael would make me laugh. I miss our lunches and spending time with him just talking about our children, wives and life.

I sincerely hope that all the Fisher family has been able to recover from such a tragic time, while still holding Michael and Billy close in their hearts. I understand what a delicate balance that is.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike after he and my husband went on a humanitarian trip to Iraq with a big group who have still remained close. He was a very special man. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I am just now learning of Michael's passing, so very saddened, he was a great man. My heartfelt condolences to his family. I met Mike 10 years ago today when a large group of us went to the Gulf to support the children and troops. I just found out about Michael today from Brandon. It is a great loss as he always brought me happiness and a laugh. He was so kind to Kelly and I and we enjoyed the many dinners we shared with Julie and him. I feel horribly that we hadn't talked since last summer and wish I would have found out when it happened. He was a great man and I hope his boys know how much he was loved and will be missed by many.

What a tremendous loss for all who knew Michael. To his children-your dad was a gem. His smile and sense of humor was infectious. Although he and I did not speak often, he had a wonderful way of spreading good cheer. May you rest in heaven my friend.

Despite the passing of so much time, I have fond memories of Michael...so many visits to Highland Park when we had fun hanging out. Mikes love and generosity knew no bounds. Amongst the gifts he sent to my son Eddie here in Scotland, many years ago was a copy of the book The Polar Express... complete with a small bell. The inscription inside reads to my good friend Eddie, may you always hear the bell, Love Michael... that bell hangs in our sitting room all year round and not just at Christmas. Mike Fisher brought a touch of magic to so many lives, It was an honour and a privilege to call him friend. He will never be forgotten, especially when we hear that bell. Sending all the love in the world to his family at this saddest of times and hoping you all find strength in the memories of a very special guy... Mike's Halloween extravaganza made my sons' first Halloween in HP the most memorable ever.
