Dear Donovan Family;
I am so sorry and stunned to hear the passing of Mike, I was just with him 1 week before he passed away. We laughed and joked about alot of things and thats when he told me the pain was real bad. I have known Mike for about 12 years and he came to my block parties every year. He was Great Guy and I had lots of fun with Mike at Paterno's even tho I don't drink any more we still managed to kept our friendship up. I will miss him and think about him all the time. My prayers are with you Marka and the children and hope that all the Fun and Happy Times help get you thru this very difficult time in your lives

My prayers are with you Mike. Man did we we have some good times growing up. I am 45 and I still think about the underground fort on the tracks, or miss Hooker in homeroom maybe we can hop another freight train one day. R.I.P. Mike.... Kevin Berndt

Marka and family, I am so very sad to hear about Mikey. I can't believe that happy smilling face has left us.
I suddenly lost Bob ( in the blink of an eye) happy, healthy one day, heart attack and gone the next. But I know he loved Mike his whole life. I hope that you are all coping as best you can. Hugs always Joan ( and Bob is with Mike)

Well it's taken me awhile to get here, still having a hard time believing that your really gone. You will live on thru your beautiful children and Marka. RIP my dear Michael.Words could never describe how you touched so many of our lives. You will be missed by so many!!!!

To me, Michael was the glue of our neighborhood, keeping all of us intertwined for the last 30+ years. Last night just reaffirmed what I already knew and felt about Michael, he was loved by so many. No one could tell a story like he did, with that great smile and infectious laugh he had :)

Last night, he got the send off he deserved and would have loved! I truly believe that last night he was sitting with Joe, Warren and Frank having a few cold ones, swapping stories of all the great times that we have had over the years!

RIP Michael, you are missed, now and forever!
