Uncle Michael it's been over 3 months now since you left us and I still can't believe it. My heart was broken in two when Uncle Morrie passed away, and now that your gone my heart is shattered into a million little pieces and will remain that way. I miss you more than words can say. I often dream of you and Uncle Morrie and that makes me happy and brings me alot of comfort. I love you so much. I now have two of the best Guardian Angles watching over me.

Mike, Sr. was my father in law and "papa" to my children. There are no words to express how deeply he will be missed. It saddens me to think he will not be there in body for their graduations or weddings but I have all the faith he will be there in spirit. I also am a twin and can only imagine how much his heart ached for his twin and brother Uncle Morrie. We can only take comfort knowing that his broken heart has now healed as he now has been reunited with Morrie and the rest of his beloved family. We will forever feel the void in our hearts and our lives but will keep his smile, laughter, and beautiful memories in our hearts forever.

Michael was a wonderful person to know and to work with. I seen him comfort so many families and was friendly and funny. He and his brother Maurie were true professionals and at the same time could be your best friend. They always had that extra special touch and everyone who experienced their personal ways knows exactly what I'm talking about. May God now comfort the families of these most amazing men.

Dear Sharon and family,
The services for Michael were so moving and endearing. You are very blessed to have such a wonderful family and loving friends. Yes, we are saddened for your loss, but we will hold on to the memory of Michael and Morrie as they always gave such kindness to our families during our time of sorrow, in addition to being good friends. I know my dad loved to entertain them with his old jokes. They got such a kick out of him. And Michael Jr., your dad was so proud of you. His spirit will be there forever to guide you.
My best and sincere wishes always,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the entire Coletta Family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all. My mom had grown up with "Mikey" and "Maury" in the neighborhood since they were kids and these past 2 and half years I spent more time then I liked at the funeral home with them when we mourned my mom and more recently my dad. Michael has always been so kind and was nothing less than an angel during our difficult loss. The heavens are truly blessed to have him up there. My love and sympathy to you all, I pray that God will help heal your pain like only he can.

My deepest sympathies to the Coletta family. Michael was always a very kind and happy person. My step dad, Jim Carlson golfed with him. While my dad was dying at home from cancer, Michael and his son offered to come and help us move him from his own bed to a hospital bed. It helped my mom out so much. They didn't have to do that. It was just the kind of person he was. May you find comfort in your memories, and may Michael rest in peace with our Lord and his family and friends who entered before him.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
