Dick Hefferan forwarded the sad news that Mike had died. In our early years at Quigley, Mike and I spent our Thursdays together (we went to school on Saturday and had Thursday off). He was a very good man and he stays in my memory. My prayers and condolences to you.

Mike Cleary has now joined a select group of people. He is sitting somewhere with Aaron, Clarence, Slim, Richie, Bill, Penny, Jack, Howard, Larry, Ted, Harry, and Bruce. They are probably having a cup of coffee and looking over the plaque that bears their names and has followed the Saturday Morning Helping Hand Mission group for many years. He was a good and faithful member and helped us all along the path. I know that doesn't bring him back, or ease the pain of his loss, but he remains in our hearts. His quiet steady presence and professorial manner echo the grace that was Mike. God bless you Carol and all those who who loved him so well.

Dear Carol,

We'll all miss Michael, I',m sure noone more than you. He was a great teacher of courage,a great companion to me over the years and also a great help to me when Doug died. I only wish I could have been more help. If there is anything I can do for you all you have to do is call. I love you, let people help.
