Melvin Lieberman Obituary
Lieberman, Melvin H. age 83. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Schorr) of 61 years, loving father of Kenneth (Barbara), Marny (Fred) Dixon, adoring grandfather of Dawn, Dana Lieberman (fiance Scott Price) and Seth Dixon, great grandfather of Maya Lieberman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Board of Jewish Education, 3320 Dundee Rd., Northbrook, IL, 60062 or the charity of your choice. Service Wednesday, 11 a.m. at The Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Entombment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. Words can not express your loss. I know how it feels to lose a father, a grandfather but Phyllis, I do not know how it feels to loss a spouse and best friend. I pray that each day becomes a little easier and
knowing Mel was a wonderful man and to have had him for the many years filled with fun times and smiles will make your future days bearable. Memories are forever. God Bless!!

Dear Lieberman Family,
I had the opportunity to work for Ken for many years. Over that time I got to know Mel and came to understand what he meant to Ken and his family. It was easy for me to see why Ken was such a wonderful role model for me. He was who he was because of his family.
I know he will be greatly missed. How lucky you were to be loved by Mel.

Dear Marny,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that this is a difficult time for you and your family. I know that you were very close to your dad and that this loss is very painful for you. Knowing that he lived a long, healthy and happy life hopefully will bring you a great deal of comfort. I hope that you will also get comfort from knowing that you had a beautiful relationship with him. You have been a very loving and devoted daughter. I am sure that your dad was so proud of you and that he loved and appreciated you very much. You have spoken to me about your dad so many times over the years. I have always been awed by the love, devotion and appreciation you had for him. How lucky you all have been to have each other for so long.
