Rosenberg, Mayora (nee Gitlitz), 82, dearly beloved wife of Jack M. Rosenberg, devoted and deeply caring mother of David (Cindy) Rosenberg and Beth (Dan) Zweig, loving grandmother of Abby, Carly, Jaclyn, Molly, Laura and Ethan. Funeral services Thursday, May 10, 2007, 1 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mayora's name to Swedish Covenant Hospital, Administrative Offices, 5145 N. California Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Info: Piser Funeral Services, 847-679-4740.

Dear friends are hard to replace. We have not been in touch as often as we should but we did think of you often, especially during the last years when Mayora was not herself. Remembering all of the good times in Arizona. Our deepest sympathy to all of your family.

We say goodbye today to a dear friend and neighbor of many, Mayora Rosenberg. She was among the first to greet our family when we moved onto Kilpatrick 43 years ago. She became an important part of our family, along with her own family. Her spirit and jovial personality were only two of her strengths. She could offer you an opinion, while listening to yours. She was proud of her husband, son, daughter and grandchildren. She offered up her time at the annual Orphans' picnic in Lincoln Park many years ago. Mayora leaves behind many fond memories for all of us to share and I am proud to say she was a dear friend and neighbor and she will not be forgotten.
