Maxine Flagg Obituary

Flagg, Maxine Taylor 91, of Homewood, Illinois, passed away February 27, 2012 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin Flagg, Sr., Maxine leaves her beloved sister Lula Mae Blakley, children Edwin (Betty) Flagg, Patricia (Ronald) Poole, and Michael (Claudia) Flagg; grandchildren Patrice (Charles) Waller, Melinda (James) Flagg, Misha (Ephriam) Wofford, Keila (Markeith) Henderson, Tammara (Jameel) Wofford, Renee Poole, Christopher Flagg, Michael Jr. (Ayesha) Flagg, Lois (Ramon) Castillo, Brian Flagg, Mykal Thompson, Kyle Thompson, and Victoria Poole; 21 great and four great-great-grandchildren to cherish her life. Maxine was a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church in Lexington, Tennessee. The wake will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 6 pm at Tews Funeral Home in Homewood. Services will held Sunday, March 4th at 12 pm. at Shiloh SDA Church in Chicago. Her interment will occur on Monday, March 5th at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
