Maurita Donlin Obituary
Maurita Gill Donlin, Age 74, a long time resident of Chicago passed away peacefully after a long battle with lung cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late John L and Veronica Donlin. Loving sister of Kathy Lawler (Mike), John G Donlin, Claire Frye (Peter),James Donlin(Kathleen) and Joseph Donlin (Nancy). She spent her career at the US Postal Service in logistics management. Maurita had a large family and many friends who will miss her, including 21 nieces, and nephews; in-laws, cousins, neighbors and more. The family would like to thank Journey Care for their excellent care and kindness in taking care of Maurita. Visitation Saturday, March 12, 2022, 1:30 pm until time of Funeral Mass 2:30 pm at Saint Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062. In Lieu of Flowers the family is asking that you make a donation to Misericordia Heart of Mercy www.misericordia.com. Info: donnellanfuneral.com or (847)675-1990.

Maurita - a very fine lady.
Over the many years as neighbor, she always remained, highly refined, a finely balanced and reasonable person, not at all easy to find these days, in fact quite unique in these qualities. I will miss her - was so wonderful for our neighborhood - and for me. Love to Maurita, and to her family & friends,
