Matt was a great lawyer, a very patient mentor, an outstanding outfielder on the State´s Attorney softball team, and a uniquely funny person. RIP my friend.

To the Walsh Family,
It saddened us to hear of Matt's passing,my parents thought the world of Matt. They enjoyed staying with Matt and Eileen on their many trips to Chicago. As a child I remember Matt and how warm and friendly he was, and how he loved to talk! To be fortunate enough to be in the company of the Walsh brothers and hear their stories was truly a treat. We were blessed to have known Matt.
You are all in our prayers.

My brother Marty forwarded on the e-mail about Matt. Please accept our deepest sympathy and to all of the family. We are sorry we are unable to attend the wake and funeral as we are leaving for Michigan on Friday morning for a wedding and we will be gone all weekend. Regards to all of the family. You will be in our thoughts.

Dear Walsh Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I have many lovely, fond memories of Matt senior from when we were all younger. He was a lovely man and he will be surely missed!
May you find strength at this time of sorrow and remember all the great years you had together.
God Bless
Sean
