Steve & Mary Anne's Dad, Heather, Stacey, Sam, and, especially, Dorothy: I am so sorry that Mary Anne has died. I am, also, very sorry that I hadn't come to visit her for such a long time beforehand. I will always regret that I did not. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and a very, very good friend to me and to my entire family, especially my grandson Ryan whom she treated just like he was her very own. I will never ever forget her and the laughter and the many good times we shared. There will never ever be anyone like Mary in my life, and I am privileged to have had her as my friend for so long!!

Mary Anne will always remain my model as the best example of strength and dignity and indomitable will power in the face of staggering setbacks culminating in her final war with MS! She was unbelievably intelligent and focused, enormously talented.....there was very little she hadn't at least attempted to do in her life without success. You either loved her or hated her and most people that really got to know her LOVED her. She ALWAYS reached out to people, and I will always regret that I didn't communicate with her as much as I would have liked. Heaven will be a much better place now that Mary is there to share her gifts and love, but down here I am sorry that without Mary the world is short one super KIND,TALENTED and LOVING soul who REALLY KNEW WHAT IT WAS TO LIVE!!!
