My condolences on your mother's death. The Crottys lived across the street from your Mom on 66th Street. Your grandmother Kratchnik used to make the Loretto Sisters postulant outfits, and my sister Therese Crotty Tarman babysat Jimmy McGee when he was young.
I am now a Loretto Sister ( IBVM) and only knew your Mom as a young adult who lived across the street and belonged to St. Bernards Church.
I taught one of the girls at St. Bride's and thought how small our world was because I had gone to school with her uncle Chuckie. May God bless you all. Sister Betty Crotty IBVM

Usher Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. Growing up on 95th Place was wonderful, because the Usher's lived right across the street. Your Mom always welcomed us into your home, and even included us Christmas Eve when Santa stopped by. She touched so many lives, and was always there when needed.
Heaven just got another angel.
